Brienne Bennett is a Senior Waste Management Coordinator with the Waste Stewardship Unit of the Ministry of Environment. Brie has worked in Saskatchewan’s waste management industry since graduating with a master’s degree in Sustainable Environmental Management from the University of Saskatchewan in 2010. She has completed the Compost Council of Canada’s Compost Facility Operator training and is a certified Master Composter with the Saskatchewan Waste Reduction Council. Brie is passionate about waste diversion in her day job and beyond, especially when it comes to composting. Brie loves to experiment with different types of composting systems in her yard and has provided composting presentations to libraries, community groups, schools and businesses over the years.
